The Boroughcoutas Masters are an adult swimming club catering for swimmers over the age of 18. There are currently around 60 members of the Boroughcoutas, who swim under the motto of “fitness, friendship & fun”.

Many Boroughcoutas members take part in Masters Swimming Victoria events, such as the long and short course meets, training under accredited coach Toby Durden.

he Geelong Catfish is a Masters Swimming club for swimmers from all over Geelong, as well as the Surf Coast and Bellarine regions.

Some members train at Leisurelink in Belmont, or Kardinia and Lara outdoor pools during the summer. The City of Greater Geelong offers a Masters Squad at Waterworld in Norlane which is open to adults of all levels.

Geelong Catfish is currently a small but active group of Masters Swimmers who enjoy competing in MSV swimming competitions throughout the year. Many members take part in the numerous open water swims in our area over summer.

Port Mussels are based at Portarlington Pool on the Bellarine Peninsula. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome and the club’s emphasis is on fitness, fun and friendship. Some members compete in pool and open water competitions, others are more interested in having a coffee after training.

Training is available four days a week. During the warmer months open water swimming and kayaking sessions are held at weekends.
