2021-22 MSV Board 

Masters Swimming Victoria is managed under the direction of the board. Current membership of the board is:

Coaching Director – Amy Jones (VFR)
Technical Director – Simon Bole-Brown (QRD & VVM)
+ One representative from each member club.

Under the Associations by-laws, life members are also entitled to attend but not vote at board meetings.  The board members listed above are not recognised as club representatives.
This board structure is under review as part of the renewal process for MSV’s constitution – June 2021.

2020 MSV Ambassadors

Linley Frame

MSV was extremely pleased to have Linley Frame as our 2020 Ambassador. Linely has been a wonderful Ambassador for MSV since 2013 and is a true champion of the sport and epitomises the health message of swimming for life! 

Linley is no stranger to the pool, having represented the Australian Dolphin Swim Team from 1989 to 1995 during which time she was crowned world champion and achieved podium finishes at the Pan Pacs and World Short Course Championships and earned Olympic representation.

Linley is a member of MSV Club Melbourne Vicentre and currently holds 3 Fina Masters World Records. Linley is a strong advocate for increasing the focus on athlete wellbeing, mental health and athlete transition and is responsible for the continued national roll out of Beyond the Black Line, a joint wellbeing initiative between Swimming Australia, state swimming associations and the Australian Swimmers Association. She also works with Swimming Australia as the Athlete Wellbeing and Engagement Manager.


Geoff Toogood

MSV was also pleased to welcome Geoff Toogood as MSV’s 2020 Ambassador.

Geoff swims with the MSV Club Powerpoints in the pool and has competed in State, National and World Titles. He also is a long distance and ocean swimmer having completed a English Channel relay , Rottnest Solo swim and numerous open water swims .

Outside swimming Geoff is a Mental Health Advocate and is an Ambassador for Beyond Blue. Geoff founded crazysocks4docs a foundation to raise awareness and advocacy about Mental Health in those that treat the health workers. His day job is Cardiologist and he has received the highly prestigious AMA Presidents awarded for his work especially in Mental Health advocacy in Australia and internationally

He is a firm believer in the benefits of exercise and Mental and Physical well-being and will advocate this in his role and encourage swimming as one of the fun ways to achieve this .
