MSV is excited to be partnering again with Swimming Victoria to bring you the Victorian Open Water Championships on December 9th in the beautiful regional city of Geelong! Thanks to the incredible support from the City of Greater Geelong, this event promises to be a great experience for all participants. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or a first-time open water swimmer, we can’t wait to see you take on the challenge and make a splash in the open water!
Important Information for MSV Members
The official MSV Championship race will be the 2.5km.
MSV members will be eligible for medals in standard MSA age brackets (18-24, 25-29, 30-34 etc).
MSV members may wear wetsuits. There is no special non-wetsuit category.
Under a new ruling from World Aquatics Masters, wetsuits MUST be worn if the water temperature is at or below 18 degrees celcius.
In the event of bad weather on the day, the competition may be rescheduled to December 10.
